Shirley C (Teeter) Mauk

Shirley C. Mauk, age 82, a resident of The Village at Morrison’s Cove, formerly of Altoona and Duncansville, died Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center, following a brief illness. She was born November 25, 1938 in Roaring Spring, a daughter of the late Charles and Sarah (Teeters) Teeter. She married Roy T. Mauk. He preceded her in death in 2004.

She is survived by two sons: Bruce A. Mauk and Terry L. Mauk, both of Altoona.

She was preceded in death by a son, Stephen L. Mauk in 2009; and three siblings: Gloria Jean Cogan, Paul Teeter and Ronald L. Teeter.

Shirley was a graduate of Spring Cove High School. She previously worked at Altoona Shoe, Warnaco, Veeder-Root, and for private home nursing care.
