Thomas M O'Connell

Thomas M. O’Connell, age 61, of Duncansville, died Monday, November 16, 2020, at his residence following a brief battle with cancer. He was born August 2, 1959 in Cincinnati, OH, a son of the late James and Ruth (Richards) O’Connell. He married Patti C. Shaw on June 13, 1994.

Survived by his wife of 26 years, Patti; a daughter, Macie O’Connell (Randall) of Roaring Spring; a step-son, Arron Salisbury of McKee; 6 grandchildren: Nolan, Rylee, Erika, Tyler, Marissa, and Zayne; and four siblings: Patricia Turner of KY, Daniel O’Connell of OH, Beverly Lewis of FL, and Scott O’Connell of IN.

Tom was a graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. He worked at Wal-Mart Distribution Center for 24 years, where he worked in central receiving.

He was a model train enthusiast, enjoyed listening to Christian rock, was an avid baseball fan and collected baseball memorabilia, and loved spending time with his grandchildren and family.

A public graveside service will be held at Noon on Fri., Nov. 20, 2020, officiated by Pastor Jon Gross, at Carson Valley Cemetery, Duncansville.
