Virginia L (Morgan) Staniszewski

Virginia L. (Morgan) Staniszewski, age 70, of Cross Keys, Duncansville, passed on to be with the Lord, and family and friends on Wednesday morning, September 15, 2021 at UPMC Altoona. She was born December 5, 1950 in Roaring Spring, a daughter of Elizabeth L. (Chamberlain) Morgan and the late Orville W. Morgan. She married the late Stephen E. Staniszewski on Aug. 31, 1968 in Lynnfield, Pa.

Surviving are her mother; a daughter, Stephanie J. Kanach of Duncansville; two sons: Stephen T. of Idaho and Sean W. (Tina Morin) of Portage; 5 grandchildren: Brittney Wilcox, Jamie and Nicole Kanach, and Darrian and Adrienne Faulkner; great-granddaughters: Elizabeth and Fayth; great-grandsons: Ronan, River, Lee, Maverick, and Rae; and 7 siblings: Margaret Dodson, Bessie Quarello, and May, William, John, Calvin and Richard Morgan.

She was preceded in death by her husband; infant daughter, Christina; granddaughter, Sierra; grandson, Damian; brother, Frank; and a sister, Mary.

Virginia graduated Valedictorian from St. Pius X High School in Pottstown. She retired from the DPW Ebensburg Center as a residential service aide.

She was a long-time member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, where she also volunteered at their school. Virginia also volunteered at the Foot of Ten school library and was a representative for AFSCME for many years. She was very active in her community.

Virginia enjoyed cooking for her family, as well as being there and spending time with them. She will be forever in our hearts and minds until we meet again.

Friends will be received on Sun., Sept. 19, 2021 from Noon to 2pm, followed by a funeral service at 2pm, officiated by Father Allen Zeth, at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Duncansville.
