Virginia A. Walk, age 67, of Duncansville, died unexpectedly early Sunday. morning at her residence. She was born in Philipsburg, a daughter of the late Arthur and Jessie (Otto) Pressler. She married David W. Walk on Oct. 21, 1972 in Winchester, VA.
Survived by her husband of 47 years, David Walk; a son Travis Walk (girlfriend Lindsay) of Duncansville; two sisters: Bonnie Owens of Bellwood and Judy Mounts of Gallitzin; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters: Betty Morrissey, Carolyn and infant April.
Virginia was a graduate of Bellwood High School. She worked in food-service for many years for Altoona Center for Nursing Care and Hillview, then worked at Lowe's for several years.
She enjoyed cross-stitching, collecting Beanie Babies, playing the lottery and going to casinos with her husband.
At Virginia’s request, there will be no viewing or services.
Interment will take place at Blair Memorial Park.
