Wade M Holland

Wade M. Holland, age 83, of Duncansville, died Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at UPMC Altoona following a brief illness. He was born February 6, 1938 in Hollidaysburg, a son of the late Francis G. and Wyoma F. (Ritchey) Holland. He married Lois J. Brown on July 11, 1974 in Altoona.

Surviving are his wife, Lois, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three sisters: Leila “Dee” Helsel, Jolene Steinbrunner, and Virginia Kemp, and three brothers: Robert Sr., Quinton, and George Holland.

Wade was a US Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam Era. He had worked in janitorial at high schools in Leesburg, Florida, and then as a security guard.

Friends will be received on Fri., Oct. 1, 2021 from 11am until the 1pm funeral service, officiated by Pastor Jeffrey Kiel, at Hollidaysburg Christian & Missionary Alliance Church. Interment will take place at Blair Memorial Park.
