Wallace L. ‘Wally’ Brubaker, age 85, of Duncansville, died Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Altoona. He was born November 13, 1940 in Altoona, a son of the late Nelson and Josephine (Riley) Brubaker. He married Ethel M. Dryburg. She preceded him death on May 1, 1992.
Surviving are 6 children: Diana Brubaker (Linda) of Altoona, Brenda Mervine (Dave) of Altoona, Christine Eger of Duncansville, Wallace Brubaker Jr. (Sandy) of Duncansville, William ‘Bill’ Brubaker (Carolyn) of Frankstown, and Vicki Graham; 7 grandchildren: Brittany, Kylie, Shana, William, Cory, Shannon, and Kendra; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his three siblings: Nelson Jr., JoAnn Morgan-Ling, and Joyce Maher and a grandson, Joey Lingenfelter.
Wally was a retired self-employed sub-contractor. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching Westerns.
Friends will be received on Friday, December 5, 2025 from 4 until the 7pm Celebration of Life at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Duncansville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (Memorials Processing, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959) and/or Central PA Humane Society (1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602).
