Wanda Smith Obituary

Wanda Lee (Feathers) Smith, age 84, of East Freedom, died unexpected on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. She was born July 7, 1937 in Bedford, the daughter of the late Kenneth J. and Margaret S. (Mowery) Feathers. She married Orville W. Smith, Jr. on July 2, 1979 in Winchester, VA. He also died unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 24, 2022.

Surviving is a daughter, Kimberly L. Morrison of Lakemont; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth J. Feathers, Jr. and his wife Nancy, and her son-in-law, Jim Morrison.

Wanda was a 1956 graduate of Bedford High School.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no public viewing or services. Private interment will take place at Alto-Reste Cemetery.
