William M. Bryan, Sr., age 91, of Carson Valley, Duncansville, died Wednesday morning, November 17, 2021 at UPMC Altoona following a brief illness. He was born December 22, 1929 in Altoona, son of the late Clyde W. and Edna M. (Johnson) Bryan. He married Doris J. Stuckey on Nov. 23, 1951 in Winchester, VA. She preceded him in death on Oct. 20, 2019.
Surviving are three children: William M. Bryan, Jr. (Cynthia) of Duncansville, Pamela Zebroski (Walter) of East Freedom, and Dwight Bryan (Melissa) of Altoona; four grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; a sister, Sylvia Malsaski; and five step-siblings: Harry Longenecker, Jr., Bonnie Neil, Janet Karlie, Terry Longenecker, and Greg Longenecker.
Mr. Bryan was a self-employed entrepreneur his whole life, owning many businesses over the years. He enjoyed working and his wife was by his side through all his endeavors. He was a US Army veteran, serving in Alaska.
Friends will be received on Sun., Nov. 21, 2021 from 2-5pm and on Mon., Nov. 22 from 10am until the 11am funeral service, officiated by Pastor Mark Lingenfelter, at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Duncansville. Interment will take place at Carson Valley Cemetery, Duncansville.
