William D Himes III

William D. Himes III, age 43, of Hollidaysburg, died unexpectedly on Sunday, September 24, 2023. He was born December 11, 1979 in Altoona, a son of William D. Himes Jr. and Joyce M. (Barnes) Himes.

He is survived by his parents; four sisters: Christa M. Himes of Virginia, Laura Ann Aron of North Carolina, Brenda L. Himes of Hollidaysburg, and Angela R. Griffin of Ashville; a brother, Robert Lee Himes of Hollidaysburg; nephews and nieces: Jack Griffin, Benjamin Griffin, Baylee Himes, Kynzlee Himes, and Alexis Black; two great-nephews; and a great-niece.

Billy was a Hollidaysburg High School graduate, Class of 1998. He worked for Creative Pultrusions in Alum Bank.

He enjoyed nature, sciences, computers and technology, reading, cooking, antiques, and history. He loved kids and animals. Billy was very passionate about music. He was a great songwriter and played the guitar and drums. He liked to help others.

There will be no public services at this time.
