Obituary

William B. Locke, age 64, who resided in Mount Pleasant Mills, originally from Bellwood, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. He was born July 21, 1958 in Altoona, a son of the late Thomas Harry and Mary Edna (Reilly) Locke.

He is survived by his daughter Jayme Locke and husband James Walsh of Altoona; 3 Grandchildren: Stephfon Locke, Quadir Walsh, and Aaisha Walsh; a sister Connie Jo (Locke) Shumac of Altoona; and a niece Pamela (Stevens) Robinson of Altoona.

He was preceded in death by his brother James Locke of State College and two nephews: Timothy Stevens and David Shumac Jr. of Altoona.

Mr. Locke was a graduate of Bellwood High School. He later became employed at Clearheart Construction where he was Senior Supervisor of 27 years. He was an active member of the Selinsgrove Legion Riders and Post 25. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and his dog.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11am on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Hillside Community Church, 508 S. Cambria St., Bellwood. Pastor John Poe will officiate.
